The present article aims at going beyond the notion of comfort of living to embrace a wider notion of happiness of living. By interviewing individuals on their ways of living, their enjoyments and aspirations, the article distinguishes several component of happy living: a hedonic component, a cognitive component, a conformity component and a symbolic component. It concludes by pledging for policy towards happy-living.
